MPS is looking for a Talent Acquisition intern to join our People Team in San Jose, CA! In this role you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the recruiting department. Your responsibility will include assisting with planning summer programs, hosting intern events, collaborating with marketing to enhance the MPS employer brand, engaging in social media posts and activities, and creating an inclusive, fun, and learning atmosphere for our interns and employees.

As a Talent Acquisition intern, you will:
University Program Support:
Assist in the coordination of MPS university program, including recruitment, onboarding & program logistics.
Serve as a point of contact for interns, addressing inquiries & providing support as needed.
Help organize training sessions, learning, networking, and social events for interns.
Develop event concepts, coordinate logistics, and manage event budgets.
Ensure events are engaging, informative & aligned with the company culture.
Assist in outreach efforts to potential students and universities.
Recruiting Team support:
Provide general recruiting support and projects including scheduling interviews, storing resumes and updating recruiting materials.
Collaborate with marketing and digital marketing team on employer brand and engagement.
Create marketing materials, update and manage social media accounts, and promote programs and events as needed.
Collect program data and track program effectiveness and generate recruiting reports as requested.
We are looking for you if you are:
currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, preferably in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Computer-savvy, deep knowledge and comfort level using Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design tool such as Canva to create flyers or presentations is strongly preferred.
Prior experience in HR or event planning in student organizations is desirable but not .
Prior experience in utilizing an HR system to run reports and analyze data is desirable but not .
In this role, you may have exposure to sensitive and confidential information, so discretion and good judgment is .
Interns will be expected to work full time on-site in our San Jose office. The internship is a paid opportunity.
Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The hourly salary range for this position in California is $25-30.
