The Associate HR Business Partner is a high-performing HR professional who builds trusted partnerships with leaders and their teams to deliver a high level of value-added service and champion positive change. This role provides senior generalist support and consultation throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Additionally, this position will manage the recruitment process for salaried blue-collar, non-manufacturing roles for the Direct Distribution sites in the West region, specifically California and Washington.

The ideal candidate will be located near San Francisco with the ability to work remotely and travel monthly to our Direct Distribution site in South Gate, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to implement HR strategies
  • Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires

  • Manage employee relations matters and resolve conflicts
  • Oversee the offboarding process for departing employees
  • Execute HR programs and policies within assigned business units
  • Manage the full recruitment process for non-manufacturing roles
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment processes and regulations

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience providing HR support across multiple business locations, including California
  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations
  • Some recruiting experience preferred but not required
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or another HR certification is a plus

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
  • Equivalent experience will be considered
